Nagarkot Dhulikhel Namobuddha Hiking
The ‘Nagarkot-Dhulikhel-Namobudha Hike’ is one of the shortest hiking routes in the heart of the Himalayas and offers a fascinating view of the Himalayas. The Nagarkot-Dhulikhel-Namobuddha hike, which lasts for three days, is ideal if you don’t have time for a lengthy trek that takes you to the Himalayan foothills and don’t want to travel far. It will give you at least a brief glimpse of Nepal’s villages, forests, and Himalayan landscape.
After a 27km ride to Nagarkot, the hike to Dhulikhel and Namobudha begins at Nagarkot. The Eastern Himalayas may be seen in all their magnificence and continuous beauty from Nagarkot. From here, you can see Everest, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Annapurna peaks. One of Nagarkot’s biggest draws for both foreign and domestic visitors is the magnificent dawn and sunset. The journey descends from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel, a historic settlement with impressive architectural landmarks and enthralling culture. Finally, we’re going to Namobuddha, a sacred spot where visitors frequently practice yoga and meditation. After that, we’ll head back to Kathmandu, putting an end to your fantastic hiking trip.
We can take our time getting started. Around 11 am, we begin the drive to Nagarkot. We arrive at the stunning Nagarot Hill Station after a 2 hr trip. The Himalayas may be seen from the comfort of your hotel balcony in Nagarkot, which is a well-known tourist destination. Nagarkot, a picturesque location 32 kilometers from Kathmandu, features densely covered pine trees that are broken up by a variety of lodges and resorts that provide one of the most expansive Himalayan views available, with eight ranges visible (8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13 from here).
With vistas of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park, the ranges include the Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur (Everest), and Numbur ranges. We settle into our hotel, eat lunch, and then trek to the hilltop view tower, where we enjoy the Himalayan sunset view before returning to the hotel.

We rise early in order to witness the captivating scene of the sun rising from behind the Himalayan peaks. Once the moment and the scene had been captured, we will have breakfast once more while taking in Nagarkot’s natural beauty. We then begin the ascent to Dhulikhel. We will travel through towns and forests till we arrive in Dhulikhel.

We set off on our hike to Namobuddha after breakfast. We get to see some gorgeous Himalayan peaks while hiking. In the Kavre District, close to Kathmandu, is Namobuddha, a very significant Buddhist pilgrimage site, which is located at an elevation of 1750 meters. The pre-incarnation of Lord Buddha is connected to the mythical location known as Namobuddha.
