Chisapani Nagarkot Trek

Chisapani, which is 2,135 meters high, is located 576 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. It is a lovely hill town that offers stunning views of the mountains and hills in the area. Sundarijal, located about 90 minutes from the city, is where the Chisapani Nagarkot hiking route starts. As the name indicates, Sundarijal is home to many exotic types of flora and animals as well as lovely streams. We can get a stunning panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley from Mulpani. We can see the Annapurna, Manaslu, and other western ranges clearly from the trail.
Those with limited time or soft hiking lovers can consider the Chisapani Nagarkot Trek. We will travel through the Shivapuri National Park, which is home to several unique species of animals, birds, and plants, as part of the Chisapani Nagarkot Trek. In addition, it offers stunning mountain vistas.
At 2,175 meters, Nagarkot is roughly 32 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. The hill station is well known for its breathtaking views of the Alps, both at sunrise and dusk. It is the perfect place to see the wonders of nature while yet enjoying the comforts of urban life.
Both Chisapani and Nagarkot are well-known mountain viewing locations both domestically and abroad. The Everest and Langtang ranges, Manaslu, Buddha Himal, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa Himal, and Gauri Shankar Himal are just a few of the magnificent mountains that can be seen from these two locations.

We will meet early in the morning and take a about 90-minute drive to the village of Sundarijal (1,350m). The trek to Chisapani will start from there and last for around 4 hours. Through the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve, we will walk. To go to Chisapani, we’ll traverse Mulkharka, a gorgeous Tamang village, and then descend the mountain via oak and rhododendron forests.

We will leave for Nagarkot early in the morning, and the walk will last for almost 7 hours. We will enjoy the stunning sunrise over the northern mountains as the sunshine turns them red and orange. We will cross Chauki Bhanjhyang on our hike. To go to Nagarkot, one of the top tourist destinations in Nepal, we must hike uphill and downhill. On a clear day, we can see the Himalayas from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way to Everest and Kanchenjunga in the west. This is among the trek’s top attractions.

We will hike down the historic road to Bhakapur early in the morning after taking in the sunrise from the top of Nagarkot hill, passing via the small Newari community of Changunarayan. We’ll go to Bhaktapur, the most dynamic and well-preserved medieval settlement in all of Nepal, as well as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the court of the Malla Kings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will then take a 45-minute drive back to Kathmandu from there.
