Mardi Himal

It is one of the most highly regarded tourism trek destinations in the Annapurna Himalaya region. Mardi Himal is located in the east of the Modi Khola, across the valley from Hiunchuli.

The emphasis of this trek is on the forest and wilderness of these mountains. The trek goes off the beaten trackaway from busy trails and has the essence of exploration. We ascend through Hindu villages and pristine oak and rhododendron forests to an alpine campsite that has an up-close view of Mount Machapuchare, Mardi Himal and Mount Annapurna. The great rice fields and the blue glaciers of the Annapurana sanctuary walls lie below the trail. Descent is via different route to the warm valley and picturesque villages on the bank of the River Mardi. Untouched modernization makes this trekking route a unique experience.
